How can your state progress?

Included in Utah’s legislation is the establishment of a panel with expertise in the science of reading and aligned reading instruction and matching funds for institutions of higher education to hire faculty with training and experience in the science of reading. Eliminating the use of three-cueing instructional practices and materials and providing summer reading camp opportunities to students would advance the Beehive State’s efforts to achieve a comprehensive approach for improving literacy outcomes.
